Woke up to a foggy morning, an ominous threat to those traveling but eerily beautiful. While it limits my vision to see clearly, it envelopes one’s self like a cover of protection….or one of doom.
Because just as the fog insulates us, it cost us in vision.
Our time, in this world, is covered in fog. A shortness of sight that can only be remedied by a vision of God’s power and love for us. This shortness of sight is further complicated by overpowering superiority of SELF and how that can supplant the purpose of our very existence.
One shudders at the vast number of people alive today who do not know the Lord, who have anger and evil in their hearts, with no thought for their spiritual souls. All are adamant about their wisdom of life, calling evil good and good, evil, believing they are owed every desire spoken, often at the expense of someone else. Our country, our world, is being consumed by hatred and turmoil at this very time.
God's light will always break through a blinding fog!
I am in anguish, my heart hurts for anyone refusing the Lord, preferring their own ideas, judgments and conduct contrary to the commandments of God.
Every evil seen or heard can be remedied by following Biblical truths. Living your life to please the Father will stop the lies, selfishness, devious ways, corrupt morals…all sin. And, then there would be peace.
So simple. So hard to achieve. So necessary.
When you think you are being wronged, taken advantage of, coveting the good life or good health of another, take it to the One who hears. If no answer is forthcoming, keep praying, giving praise and adoration to the Creator. He is still worthy even when you or your circumstances are not. Do not let the fog blind you to your spiritual life and your ultimate purpose.
Please pray today and every day for lost souls to stop and seek God, for loving our neighbors as ourselves, and most of all, loving God first and foremost in all circumstances. He is worthy!
